Sounds like you guys had a great VI trip. Now isn't it odd that it seems to be that there will be that one big piece of gold in the pan that is equal to all the other stuff put together. I've seen that so many times and it makes you wonder . . . .  <-thinking->  Anyways, I like nug's suggested posting idea, it makes great sense. I also tend to like pictures of maybe the lay of the land just so I can get a feel for the adventure myself, you see Cade, you're really bringing us along for a field trip here!   <-good_>

Good work and thanks for sharing, I like the idea of updating this thread so we can watch your progress.  If you are panning that in a day how much ground was moved?  I would also like to see pictures of a highbanker day, <_miner_> keep on keeping on <-good_>

Hi there!
That is an amazing  pic!!!
We have a pan like you but never been  succsesful....
We plan on trying it this fall at the goldstream panning reserve area, MTO 329445.
Do you have expierience there?  Is it more the fun to drive there or also a chance of some flakes or more?
We plan to see the salmon run in Revelstoke/ eagle river  and then  have some days at Goldstream.
Thanks in advance and take care
