Why did the chicken cross the road?

To lay the golden egg for us to see.

Should we be asking whether the chicken was male or female?  <-yes_>  The variety of answers to the question could be suprising.

SO.....
The chicken crossed the road because he/she was being pursued by a gang of racoons hot on his trail even though the road was a busy intersection and the doom and gloomer chickens on the other side clacklying said it couldn't be done!

If I had a second choice,
The chicken crossed the road so they could cash in on a superb discount on  <-sealed_>  Sorry for the necessary edit, but.... Shhh shhhh shhhh - not for here - - now now.   :)

'Tis the search we crave,
as we pick at the gravel.
'Tis a call for the brave,
when life will unravel.
'Tis the call, to work off the fever,
with arms and back,
and home-built lever.
Answer the call, across the road,
tame your dreams, feed the fever.
Ed.
Work smart..and hard

Actually folks, I never once thought this would be so much fun.... kinda cool sitting back watching great minds at work.   <-laugh->  :-\
Somebody said that it couldn't be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That maybe it couldn't but he wouldn't be one
Who'd say so until he had tried.

Just to let you folks know, this Contest was an absolute spur-of-the-moment creation about 2 minutes from conception to Forum preparation then to posting.  Needless to say, I did not acquire the Modern Goldseekers Manuals in advance, and like everybody else, caught up till Bedrock gets some in.  So, for the eventual winners, please exercise a bit of patience with me.

Thanks
