Striking Gold in the Back-Forty

Gold by a different definition.  When out rambling around old abandoned homes and farmsteads, oft times we come across the rusted hulks of yesteryear’s automobiles…. old turkeys, the type your father/grandfather used to drive..... those which we now see so very few of.  In each and every one of them there’s gold, or at least was, if someone else hasn’t already beat you to the punch.  Next time, check under the hood..... on the firewall.  What you’re looking for, is, the vehicle’s old VIN plate.  Most have been snatched up, but for those that aren’t, they can bring a good buck from the individual restoring an old crock of similarity (of which has no VIN plate).  As they need that for a no-hoops registration of said vehicle.  With eBay, Craig’s List and Kijiji at your finger tips, such old pieces of stamped metal could win you some good gold.
Somebody said that it couldn't be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That maybe it couldn't but he wouldn't be one
Who'd say so until he had tried.
