Hi,
The colors look good, but a simple way to find out if it is really gold, is to heat a previously photographed sample with a blowtorch to a nice red glow, let it cool and then examine it again. Compare the two images. The golden color will be gone if you don't have gold.

Gold no copper and iron pyrite yes not all that glitters is gold. That's not to say that there is no gold in the rock I suspect ppb

Another test to see if it is gold is a weak acid test (10% HCl for 10 minutes then wash with water and see if there was a change).   IF there is not yellow / gold colour present after the acid test, no gold was present in the sample.  Warning this will etch your sample as well and ensure you take proper safety procedures when using etch tests.
