The word Thanks grossly undermines our recognition of the contribution you've just made, Steppe.  And I thought I've read a fair bit myself... until  reading your post.  Well, winter's around the corner and it looks like there'll be no idle time on my front, I have one whack of reading to do.  Hopefully our members can help fill the blanks.

Some time when you have a free moment, tell us about your own operations... the gear you use, your recoveries, things you've learned the hard way, your successes and, failures.  But somehow, I feel the failure part would be very minimal if not non-existent.

Post anytime... you're more than welcome.

Larry
Somebody said that it couldn't be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That maybe it couldn't but he wouldn't be one
Who'd say so until he had tried.

Those photos were really cool but I don't think the BC government is going to let anyone use them on the Fraser River :)

Whooee.......... can you imagine what the look on one of those government fellows faces would be like if they came around the bend in the river and saw one of those things in action on the Fraser???  Really gives me a good laugh just using my imagination.
