detecting gold?

detecting gold?....everyones dream....i have an minelab etrac but i am not a coin or relic hunter.i wrote the book from andy sabich. no problem to find silver in rocks with the coin program but what program for gold detecting?i am talking about gold of 1 gramm more or less. can anybody help me out with a programm?

If you have a All-metal mode.Thats what i would suggest.I been told minelab explorers'etrac,not the best for gold.
But im sure it would work.Just need to use little if any discrimantion.

Detecting silver be much differant than gold-same enviroment-differant metal

The only other thing I could say is get some placer gold-or some sort of gold(earing back?).
Try differant settings?

For gold ideal PI detector- GP\GPX series. Minelab 3000, 3500, 4000, 4500, 4800, 5000. With Coiltec 18"
