Yes Sir, Poncho, he certainly did.   <-yes_>

When I assumed the moderator duties and responsibilities here I started out by reading each and every post here - and then specifically re-reading the ones that Larry had made (there are 2,070 that he authored!).  Some of Larry's ones were not-so-deep in content and some carefully outlined and made very clear what the Rules of the Road are here.  As I said - I re-read them all.

I simply try to catch when someone drifts a bit from the agreed upon norms and nudge things back into the state they should be.  Very few here have dark intentions as to posting or "acting up" --- .  As a co-moderator on another mining forum half way around the globe mentioned to me "Things that need doing will be obvious to you because those posts that step over the line will just stand out and scream that something is just wrong and needs to be fixed."
