greetings from California

It's great to find you folks. <-yahoo_>

I got the fever 30 years ago while in high school working summer jobs at wash plants in Placer and Nevada counties. I received some great advice from the old timers during my young years...steer clear of prospectors that talk like they know everything about prospecting...
Always be open to learning new things, especially about geology, not every thing is in the books!
Like free gold in Granite, placer nuggets in solid rock! I love working old hydronic pits and locating ancient river channels high in the mountains.

May your gold pan smile back at you!

Dale.

Hi Dale    Good to meet you.  Might even meet face to face this year.  I'm heading down that way soon.  Where are you out of?  I'm heading down toward Oceanside this summer.  I want to get my daughter and son in law into this.

Denadii Cho,
greetings...
I am in Fresno,
the tail end of the mother load.
just small gold around here.
I believe the GPAA has a chapter
in Oceanside or near by.

Worth checking out.   My son in law is interested too  I thought we could go partners on a claim but Placer county is a ways down the road for him.  Me?  Distance is no object at all.
