That is a good copy of what is in the patent.  Do you have any video of the one that is patented?  I would like to see one of them.  It is a good idea to use a poop tube as a roll up sluice though.  I think I will throw one of those in the back pack.

Interesting..... watch the part where it's in the creek bed, edges back to their natural position and you'll realize just what he's selling.....

And while they last, only $49.97.... http://www.mygoldpanning.com/rollupportablesluicebox.html for a 4.5 foot Roll A Sluice or order it by it's real name (Sewage Drainage Pipe) by the 50' roll for the same price, slice er in half and save a ton of money http://www.sislersstone.com/Plastic_Pipe_&_Accesories.htm

All sizes available.... act now!!!! Smiley

Like the people during the gold rush's realized, sometimes the REAL money's made by mining the miners, not mining the gold.  Smiley Ya gotta love capitalism.

While you're shopping, don't forget to check out our MAXI-PORTA-SLUICE.... picture below Smiley

Hey JJ
I have used those pipes forever and never paid a cent.

Each winter I call the local county and MTO and they tell me where and when new and replacements for the coming year.

They do all the work and I walk though the big pipes with pail and suck each rifle then save for winter to see what I have. Note each pail and pipe GPS-ed .

Small pipes use your brain for if stuck you will not be able to kiss your butt goodbye Frustrated

I use a three section 15' roof rake with my design U shape hard rubber end bent to match the trifle 2'.5"

I think Golding is 70% imagination  Thinking 25% politics Devil and 5% luck  Yahoo!! but the harder you work the more luck you will have.

The bottom of the sluice box varies from 10" at the beginning to 12" at the outlet.
These are heat formed and are practically indestructible.
If you chose to cut a pipe in half, your effective collection width is around 2-3 inches,(on a 4" pipe) and you would lose the fine separation needed to make this design work.
I created the portable sluice box to provide a real solution for portability and gold recovery.

I welcome your comments

It isn't my idea, I just found on the web.
You can find an other simmilar sluice at the DIY section, made from rubber mat.
Thank you for the kudo. It's very kind of you.

As with most things, I hated dragging what was called a portable sluice box with me to more remote streams in the high country. The gold pan was ok, but lacked the production of a sluice box, not to mention the ease of extracting gold.
My first design was a curved rubbermaid mat. The center section was the only place that the material flowed. So I brought a pc. of plywood to put under the mat. That helped but made the sluice a pain to carry and move.
Finally after watching a earth moving cat crush some ribbed pipe the idea came to me.
3 designs later, I had my first working prototype.
And the hardest part of this whole process was the 4 ft. heat treating oven.
Anyway just a little history on how the roll up portable sluice box came into being.

Hi Mike

The roll up portable sluice box is available at WHERE GOLD IS FOUND & (HOW TO RECOVER IT) .
One more thing I should mention, unless your dumping in boulders, you don't need a classifier.
The lighter rocks wash right out, the heavies stick. Like gold, platinum, garnets, black sand.
You will catch 85% of your gold in the first foot, the real light stuff will be in the next 8 inches.
After that its mostly very fine black sand and garnets.
