I built one of the river rocker boxes 2 years ago. I am really impressed at how efficient and fast it is.  It was easy to build also.

One really good book on rocker boxes is"The Gold Rocker Hand Book", by Tron Miller. It was published by Examino Press. It is hard to find now though.

Thanks desertdog I'll be getting me a copy. Have not seen one book on the subject. Except only as references, its hardly mentioned.
