This is my second post. I have made my own blue bowl and from what I can tell it works just like the Blue Bowl. Will post some pics soon.

i built my own highbanker last spring out of wood and a little bit of expanded metal and a couple of bolts, i tried to wear it out this summer, but i built the d87n thing to well, so now i'm looking to build a trommel this winter, but i think i'm gonna have to use metal for that, has anybody ever seen a trommel built out of wood?

now hold on there mcnuggets, i hear spruce roots are tough and if you lace them when wet they dry hard like sinew so i' just have to find someone that is really good at lacing snow shoes and  <-laugh->
