That's pretty nice. If I find some really good ground on my claims I'm going to build one but I'm going to base it on the Bonanza found at IRL. Mining

It looks lighter and simpler to build. Not to mention there's a ton of that plastic culvert left from old logging roads where I hunt. It's laying all over the place and I'm a bit of a recycler (scrounge) when it comes to building stuff. :)

Looks to be a nice trommel.

I think I'd add some angle bar to the inner of the trommel screen though, to tumble the material for a better wash.   <-thinking->

A great Trommel, but, they need a portable one that is bigger then the Mountain Goat Trommel, which has a puny hopper, and somewhere around 20 to thirty pounds in weight. If someone can build one, I think that they would be rich!
The Mountain Goat Trommel is way too over priced in my mind. especially because it is so small and really doesn't have a whole lot of applications. [ Invalid Attachment ]

nicely built unit but in my opinion way to much angle on the sluice and way to much water !!
