With a heavy heart, I just found out that Top Cat Ron Clifford passed away on January 15 2020. Ron was a friend of mine, we spent many hours digging, panning, and talking about everything under the sun.  He was a wonderful man, my deepest condolences go out to his family
You can take the trash out of the trailer ( Claim Flippers) , but you can't take the trailer (Claim Flippers) out of the trash...

While I never had the chance to actually meet Ron in person we did PM back and forth from time to time. 

I'll certainly miss that in the future.

Hi.I also considered Ron as a Freind.We butted heads from time to time but always had a good laugh.Ron came out and worked with several claim  owners Brad and myself mostly but his favourite spot was Yale.It was easy for him to access in his old age.RIP my friend.Luck Mcbain.
I started out with nothing Istill have most of it.

gosh everytime an old timer passes on lots of knowledge is lost
as a youngtimer i try to take in every little tid bit i can whether good or bad
