Dredging in BC
« on: January 25, 2008, 05:58:33 PM »
Have heard of someone up in the Cariboo who has recently acquired permitting for the use of a dredge.  I understand such bears a size restriction and requires adding a filtration of sorts.  Anyone with info to the nature, please post such to share with others of like interest.
Somebody said that it couldn't be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That maybe it couldn't but he wouldn't be one
Who'd say so until he had tried.

What about dry land dredging? I've seen prospectors who flood and dredge area's of dry land. What would the legalities of this be in BC?
I suppose if you kept an eye on the tailing's...not disturbing the waterways.

Does anyone know? or have experience with this method?
You'll always wonder unless you dig it

How about those PVC sucker tubes for sniping? Is that activity allowed?
