The Fraser sure is high
« on: November 16, 2019, 03:06:01 PM »
High and dirty. Tons of rain upstream I guess. I had my fishing net out all day trying to catch any floating gold I've heard about. No luck <~ShOcK~>

I've never seen the Fraser so dirty, tons of sand (and gold ?) washing down. Maybe from the landslides. I sure can't see why they would complain about a miner using a little sluice box.

Real simple. They will blame the little minor and his PAN for creating that massive rock slide.Apparantly we are the death and destuction of every natural disaster that happens. They got no answer they got no brains.Minors just happen to be the fall guys for all brain dead officials.Politians can tell the voters we found the problem and we are stopping small scale mining. It will never happen again lol!!!@* lol!!!@* lol!!!@* lol!!!@* lol!!!@* lol!!!@* lol!!!@*.Got me votes what do I care about anything. You get my drift.Luck,Mcbain.

Last year it didn't slow us down much.  Other than that Death road on the far side of Fraser between the Ferry and Lillooet which was scary.

Prefer the cold to the rain!

Since the small scale miner will probably be blamed for the land slide and extinction of some British Columbian salmon species, this maybe might be a far off chance for the small scale miner to get his pan and shovel and make up for misdeed.  <-hypnotized->

Maybe even get in on the $10 million and $30 million gravy train that's going to be spent on the remediation work project.  <-yes_>

Interested bidders are encourages to engage with local First Nations and the government is specifically seeking input form Indigenous businesses

Hi.I remember the day when minors and loggers would have got right in there and taken care of the problem.Afew tons of powder real simple will open that canyon and the fish will survive.Yes a few will die but the majority will live and carry on.No more problem?yes we have a huge problem. It is called multi layered goverment.Ottawa controls the fisheries????????? Aint no fish in Ottawa except in a restaruant. And then we got the next 5000 layers of  of natives fighting for  control.Could take the nayives five years to decide wether they want the fish or not. After all they have the final say on how this should be handled. Some bright genious came up with netting 2 fish at a time at the cost of 1000.00 a hour with a helicopter at whose expence ??The hole problem boils down to lack of goverment.Canada does not have one If we did this fish story would not have made the news.Canada is becoming the laughing stock of the world.Just my 2 cents.Luck Mcbain.
