Beautiful warm day on the Coquihalla River today
« on: November 10, 2019, 08:51:58 PM »
Had a great day on the Coq today on a friend's claim doing some long weekend panning. Was way warmer than normal for mid-November.

Anyone else get out for some end of season prospecting?

great time to be able to see everything including old workings not so visible when all the green is out!

Yup.  I'm always out prospecting, I only go to town for supplies. Let's enjoy the logging roads while there open.

Was out on the river but did not dig.Spent the weekend cutting fire wood,So all my visitors can have a warm place to stay. That sounds cheesey i know but there is nothing nicer than a warm camp on a cold day and it changes fast.Saterday was plus 7 at 7 in the morning. Was minus 2 today at 7 inthe morning. The wind howeled all night and the stove ate wood like a hungry hound dog but I was snug as a bug in a rug.Loving my new tent.Luck Mcbain.
I started out with nothing Istill have most of it.

END of season?  Just starting for us!   We wait all Summer for the Fraser to drop and Nov-March is our hay day....now obviously we are up to the mercy of the weather.  Last year was great,  this year we might not be so lucky.

We got out Sunday and had some good pans.
