meeting up in the Coquihala or any other place
« on: August 14, 2019, 11:21:10 AM »
I am just putting this out there to see if any people are  interested in meeting up this summer in the Coquihala or any other place this year? I know last year things did not work out so well, where people could not make it up there, there was talk earlier, but I have not seen or heard anything so far, so I am just putting it out there once again

Yeah it was my silly Idea,  and then I sold my house and had to move the weekend we had planned!

Early Sept is best,  wait until campers have died down.

Trying to get people to commit will be much like herding kittens...I think we're all better off just throwing out invites to others to come work our claims with us.  I'd be happy to spend some time removing nuggets from Pickerton.

Hi.Pickerton is not a claim name or aplace you will find.It is a place Dan shows off to some of his big name Youtubers and the chamber of mines.Dan does not offer his claims up for the public to pan.Luck Mcbain.

I thought the name was kind of familiar, thanks for the clue in, now I remember where I saw it. It is somewhere on the Fraser I think, Has anyone been down to the Fraser Lately? Is the water level going down much yet? Last time I went over the Rosedale bridge it was still high with the tops of the bars barely showing, Up in the canyon, I would say you would be taking your life in your own hands to play around trying to pan along the banks! The water rushing through there is just crazy! But it would be nice to hear from some one that has claims farther on up, I have only been up as far as Alexandra lately.

Fraser at Hope is down about 1' since Start of August.... good start to the month.  We are heading to our Alexandra claim areas tomorrow and are hoping for some exposed ground!
