Sounds like a great idea Mark.

Will be interesting to hear your thoughts on the Nugget Bucket for testing purposes.

Hi.Guys tried it out to day.Not impressed. You can only process one 14 inch pan and the catch basin is over flowing with cons.I was under the impression that you could feed this thing for hours,Not true. But I am going to play with it a bit more.I may be wrong,I am going to set it up in a tub and salt some material.I am thinking the way the funnel hits the center of the catch bowl the gold may very well stay in that bowl as the water floats of the lighter material. even thow it is full.I can not knock it untill I play with it a bit more. Will keep you all informed.Mcbain.

<-laugh-> <-d'oh->.I always say you can not fix stupid.Whoe ever reads the instructions?I watched a couple more vids.It is doing whatit is supposed to. and the catch panis supposed to fill right away. The gold sinks and the lights wash off.I will start over again on Saturday :-[ :-[ :-[.Let you know on the weekend.Mcbain.

my main concern with the Bucket is constantly having to fill it with water. Hard for me to see that it'll be faster than just test panning material. just my 2 cents

Hi.PG you are right to a point.Tookme about 40 mins to run 6 gallons today.Which is way faster than panning. It caught super fine gold with out losses.Good thing, but the pouring constant buckets of water is a chore. when you are crippled up.I got the grandson to pour the water while I fed the bucket and things went way faster.Over all I was impressed with the speed. and lack of losses. It is defenitly way faster than a pan.I will keep working this unit for awhile.Luck Mcbain.
