Post 2 of 2? Will it work this way?

Hi all, decided to try my hand at prospecting last summer, found some nice colours, caught the fever, finished the season with an FMC and a 2 cell claim! Spent the winter building diy equipment  (thanks youtube!) and learning the ins and outs of BC Placer mining rules and regs . (damn there's a lot of those!!)

I've been out to my claim 3 times so far this year, panned a couple hours but mostly spent clearing trail and bringing said equipment in. It's a bit of a hike, 1 km from closest FSR through some dense brush that's littered with deadfalls, but I loved every minute and am very hopeful for the summer.

Welcome to the forum.  If you look up D'Arcy Cooper on Youtube, you will find some older videos for your area that I think are wonderful.  I have not seen him post a video in a while.  I hope he is OK.

<-wave->  and Welcome, sounds like you are off to a good start !!!
That's quite a hike in to your claim. Make sure if you leave your gear at the claim that it is well hidden there is always one YO YO who will steal it

Good Luck this season !!!!

Xplore. Once I finally get it full swing washing rock, I'll be sure to post my shiny!!

Sunshine. Yes, I've watched his, along with many many others. I won't post any videos though, I've got a face made for radio....

TopCat.  I hear that...... Chained and locked to big tree, covered in tarps and camo blind, surrounded by deadfall. Last time out I walked right past it, stood about 10 feet away scratching my head thinking it should be right here until I turned around and.....oh right, that's where I put it...lol!!! At the same time thieves are lazy and that's a long way to carry stuff, it damn near killed me and it's downhill going in. I'm starting to think most of it may spend next winter there...
