Yeah - I've been in some number of old mines like that - they seem to last all summer - always wondered how old they might get. Inside the mine there is NO air movement - your breath becomes instant fog and hangs in front of your face, making seeing and pictures otherworldly. Oh, and I have never found a bit of gold in any old mine - some sites though have yielded a modest quantity of silver bearing galena - probably have a thousand pounds of the stuff on my back porch.  Anyhow - I wonder if those icicles would make for good iced summer cocktails?
