This video is nothing more than an Ad to buy his pay dirt. I thought there was rules regarding advertising?

I have nothing bad to say about most of his informative videos they are good and I respect his efforts to inform people but... Advertising No Pay like everyone else.

Respectfully,
TC

No TC, I understand your point but I believe I see things a bit differently.

I watch this forum (all of it) like a hawk.  In Dan's case he has (implied) an invitation to click on a youtube link to leave CGPF and go to youtube.

If a member here does choose to go to youtube then that member has "walked through an electronic door" to another website.  What that member does, and what other members who go through that door do there is not any concern of us here on this forum.

When you leave GPEX / CGPF to go to another website you simply have left 'here' to go 'there'.  By going 'there' (to another separate and distinct website)  you are under the rules and constraints of 'there' and no longer are constrained by any CGPF rules 'here'.

Sales or invitations to buy commercial goods on CPPF are only permitted by a paying sponsor.  You might think of that as a company advertising their commercial goods here - and, again, that activity is only permitted by forum sponsors.

There is one (sort of) exception to that.  Personal property belonging to a member is allowed, on a case by case basis,to be offered for sale.  That is not an ongoing situation - but rather a singular occurrence.  That is the sort of situation where someone might have, for example, had medical problems and wishes to sell their personal small mining equipment (like a highbanker, pans, classifiers, sluice box, etc).  That personal sale should be directed to the classified section, here    ---   http://gpex.ca/smf/index.php?board=24.0

So, Dan has not violated any constraint here.  His invitation (Implied, Inferred or Verbalized) is 100% in conformity.  I am well aware of Dan's videos and his website and they are 100% separate and distinct from us here.

My apologies all.  I should not have said at the end I would sell any left over bags.  This is supposed to be a giveaway, not a sale.  In fact, I do not want to get into selling Paydirt, it looks to be a pain in the @$$.  We will see how things go as I assemble the bags and if I have enough maybe I'll give one away here too.  *If permitted*

Hi Dan I think there is some confusion you need to clear up.Is your contest open to all or patreons only??Some feel that it is patreons only.If that is the case the contest should be restricted to your youtube site only.Fair is fair, luck mcbain.
I started out with nothing Istill have most of it.

Thanks for sharing all your videos, Dan. Always good to gold in the pan. You might want to correct the spelling on your bio location unless Peachlaqnd is a new place I have never heard of.

Ya Peachlaqnd is right beside Peachland and just like it, it just has a bit of a lineup to get in.
