On believable.middle of Jan.And no snow.Would be mining if it was a little warmer.Only get about 2 hrs above freezing.Got all my modifications done.going to start hauling equip ment back to the claim.Wont be long for that ground thaws abit.you guys on the Fraser should be taking advantage of the low water.Luck mcbain.
I started out with nothing Istill have most of it.

Interesting about the amount of snow.  Without it, there won't be much of a spring flood.  That is good news for early access and bad for replenishment of fine gold.  Happy prospecting...

Where I mine, replenishment takes multiple centuries, a little bit at a time. 

Of course "things" are different wherever you go, but the replenishment process usually is only a little for each major weather event.  Now, those pesky 100 year floods are, I guess, the exception and that is where larger Gold really does move.
