Kalamath river

Hi has anyone been down on the kalamath to the 49rs caims. Is it as good as some of there vidios show.If it is maybe ill have to keep my dredge and go down and try it out for a holiday.

Sure...They have been dredging there for the last 25 years now and everybody is gettin' rich.  Tell'em all "hi" for me.  ;)

Seriously when you go anywhere for a holiday or weekend you are relying on pure luck when mining, unless you just want the exercise and outdoor air.  Don't know where you are located, but it might be better if you spend some quality time prospecting the area around you.

It's the Klamath river in CA on hwy 96 down river from Yreka.  Be sure to check to see if the mining season is open before you go, or is not closed by the treehuggers et all again.
