Hi.Dan your photo does not show the realfine stuff.I happen to know was in your snuffer. That is ok.That tells me we are getting stuff so fine a camera will not always pick it up.I do not think My digital will pick up those tiny little circles that Ican barely see with the light conditions being poor.Point is we all know, our eqipment is working well. When you are getting what you did.you can now trust your box.If it comes up clean of gold .there is not any there :).Luck Mcbain.

Good point re: the ultra fine stuff not getting picked up by the camera Mark.

I keep seeing gold that small coming out of that box, so I definitely trust it : )

Hi.Guys.I mentioned tiny little circles. These look like tiny little douhnuts so fine the light and angle has to be just right to see them .My ground is loaded with this stuff. Most folks would toss the pan thinking there was nothing there. Dans pan had lots  but the camera did not pick it up.Also very hard to get with a snuffer. The only other place I have seen gold like this is from Emory creek. It has too be coming from some kind of host rock.Next spring i will try taking pics threw a mag glass.I do not think a cell phone can do it.Luck,Mcbain.

Did a few hours of test pans and then a few hours of production panning today - somewhere west of Chilliwack.

Was a beautiful day out there, and I am pleased with the gold that was recovered. Some coarse-ish pieces, and plenty of fines!

Here's some gold from this past weekend - somewhere west of Chilliwack in our usual spot.

HiDan you are getting some nice gold west of Chilliwack What surprises me is there is not a claim with in 50km.That is great just keep it to youselve and keep prospecting. You may find a reason to stake it yourself some day.If it can not be staked there is no law against prospecting.Luck Mcbain.
