Hmmmm.I am thinking Chris should pay about 200.00 bucks if he wants it.
#1 he lost,A finders fee
#2 the sentimental value to Chris.
#3 the historical value,It has too be the biggest piece found on the Coq.in years. All that has to be worth a little extra dont you think. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D.Luck Mcbain.
I started out with nothing Istill have most of it.

I knew I dropped my nugget somewhere on

Hey Chris,
For a small finder's fee, you can have it!
Keep On Diggin_Suave

It's all yours. That is a nice nugget. Hope you find many more where you dug to find that one.

My most recent trip to my local secret spot. Why's it always look bigger in the pan?!

Nice gold CLHaddon!

I rely on the magnification effects of both water in the pan and the curvature of the vial to exaggerate the amount of gold visually.

That said, the scale doesn't lie ; )

Explore nailed it.Water magnifies 10 fold.I try to take pics of dry gold in the cooking pan. That way I do not even fool myself.Luck Mcbain.

When water is not working for you, use an actual microscope.  It makes this puppy look huge!

Anyone know where I can pick up a cheap electron microscope? I think that's the only way I can get my gold to look as good as Dan's

Thanks McBain for hosting me on your claim this weekend. Really enjoyed it!

A couple of forum members stopped by to visit as well, was great to meet them in person.

Here is the gold I got this weekend - lots of fines.

Still hunting for that elusive picker. One day!
