Glass?

This is from a small urban river and I have seen a few of these.  Most quartz here is milky and not as angular, so I think this is broken glass from the surrounding offices etc.. Any theories?

I would love to, but that is about the size of the tip of a needle.  :(

Water worn glass is usually opaque with rounded edges.

This was from a river that runs through an industrial park with a  four lane road crossing it.  I have seen glass like that from the ocean, but the river where I got this is very small.   There is not enough flow to make it rounded and cloudy like that.  The reason I went there was that there were gold mines very close to the west and a titanium/iron mine about 1/2 mile upstream.  Just figured it would be worth a look.
