new equipment
« on: May 31, 2016, 05:09:45 PM »
hi guys. I got a nice gift from and old prospecting friend. I want to make a portable wash plant out of it. I'm putting a water pump on the back and a sluice on the side. the other side was going to be a water drill set up.(drill your own well). its going to make life so much easierargo boy.jpg.

Very nice, MJ! This will make life much easier for you.
I know who you got this from! Very nice of him to do that and save it just for you.
I do wonder however, what ever happened to the drill rig he had attached at it? Did he sell it separate, keep it himself, or do you have the drill rig now?

hello Beav. don did not have any drill rigs on the Argo's . he just got them and resold. I'm the one that wants to put a drill rig on it. but don does have a portable drill. its called the minuteman drill. it is for sale but needs work/drill rods/drill core. if you need it he can find it.

Thanks for the info, MJ! Yeah, I knew he had a Minuteman, but didn't realize it needed work.
Wonder if I would have to take out a second mortgage to be able to afford it?

hi beav;  The drill will work, we had it working. my uncle got it from don cleaned it up and then traded it back for a gas hammer drill. all it really needed was a carb kit. you can get used drill rods cheap, but to get the drill core set up was a lot of $. but as far as the drill itself I think it was around $1500.00. not bad. we were going to use it at stanburn when I owned the claims there.

That might be what  Don would sell it to YOU for, but not anyone else.  ;)
