Saskatchewan/ Eastern Alberta Rocks/gem Hunting?
« on: July 19, 2015, 03:17:05 PM »
Hello everyone. Been awhile since my last post. Has anyone tried searching for minerals/ gems from the NSR or any of it's tributaries in Sask or AB? Had any luck finding specimens >2mm in diameter within these locations?
Would a person benefit from digging under the larger deposits in looking for trapped treasure underneath rather than mining the smaller gravels on top?
How successful has it been for you guys? Thanks and happy hunting.
