Thank you guys, well since winter hit us hard this year I took some time to make something from the gold I have mined. This was the first time I ever melted/smelted gold or made anything with gold let alone gold I mined myself. Steve from nip & tuck showed me how to melt & purify it.  I ended up making a charm for my women. Its cool to know I was the only human to touch this gold while mining it-a piece of finished pure gold(mostly ;) ) jewelry.

Better make two.   <-thinking->

Nice shine on the finished product.

That what my wife said, she wants another one for other side of bracelet :) I'm hoping my camper is not collapsed. I hope to be able to check on it soon as the snow is settled a lot & it a lot safer to ride up there for a look & if it not crushed by the snow a coffee that's in the camper.

Hi.I have dug out 4 times this year.The warming and thawing and freezing again have created a ice crust 2 ft thick.My shovel is not working.I am going to dig out a old hand saw and cut blocks out of my way.The worst thing is the long range forecast for march looks like more of the same.It is going to take a good wind,rain and a 15 degree jump in temps to get rid of this crap.Luck Mcbain.

I'm going to try to drive the road to nip & tuck today, There better not be azzholes parked in my way again. I got tow straps with me though :) the ice on hill may be my biggest prob along with big snow berms, but I got a shovel and a bit of sand so I'm going to give it a shot. Wish me luck as today might be the first day of this season for me :)
