Very nice of you to organize this!  It will certainly help with the cabin fever a little bit and make the forum (even more) interesting.

One suggestion is the winner of earrings has to post a picture of themselves prospecting wearing their prize.  LOL

Awesome thanks for the clarification.

Get it on the first two.

  • Guess the weight - one guess/entry only.
  • Name the gems - one guess/entry only.

On the video - clarification. Video content - does it have to be prospecting related (seems implied but wanted to make sure.)

Thanks, thanks and thanks again!

Ok I think there is:
  • Amethyst (~117 pieces)
  • Blue Sapphires [corundum] (2 pieces)
  • Red Rubies [corundum] (2 pieces)
  • Yellowish Diamond (1 piece)

My reasoning to help others:
Corundum is a hexagonal crystal in the raw. Garnets are usually not as clear and a more purple hue when light is passed through them.
The clear gem is the hardest for me - the crystal shapes are hard to make out - but not citrine and I doubt it would be quartz and in the picture as a gem... Sunstones usually don't cluster like that and are smoother - at least the ones I have found.

Amethyst
Ruby
Tanzanite
Quartz

And I'm making a complete wild ball park guess but I'd say 4g weight
