It's been a while since I've posted about this (2007 I think) and thought some of the new folks might find it interesting.

Somebody said that it couldn't be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That maybe it couldn't but he wouldn't be one
Who'd say so until he had tried.

The only thing about civil war is there are two things that used to happen.  One, they would intentionally double shot their loads.  Two, they would in panic when the other army was advancing get "buck fever" and keep reloading rather than shooting.  Some of the discarded rifle would sometimes have 6-8 shot down the barrel.  They performed the tasks they were trained, but forgot to pull the trigger (probably a good thing because the barrel would not handle it).  Cross shots are incredible.

Hi.Larry good find The angles of cross fire fusion show well. Now I know 2 crazys that would try too copy that if they were still alive and they would spend every dime they made copy just because they could shoot that good.My father was one.Only man I knew that could take 6 dimes out of the air with  a bolt action 30.06.My little brother was better.Barred from all turky shoots at age 10.Now if they had seen this they would have tried to copy it.Just for a little sport.Do not think you will find another.Luck Mcbain.
