"The Curse Of Oak Island"
« on: February 15, 2014, 04:12:42 PM »
Anybody watching this new TV series on the "History" channel? (The Curse Of Oak Island)
Some very mysterious happenings over the last several hundred years!?  <-shock_>
6 people have died so far thru the years exploring this mystery and legend has it... One more must die before it's solved.  <-shock_>
The third show in the series is tomorrow nite. They are suppose to be draining a 3 million gallon swamp, there is some evidence the treasure may be hidden on the bottom. Some pretty elaborate traps were laid in what has come to know as the money pit, to help convince people to stop searching.
The guy currently leading the hunt has being learning about it since the age of 9, and I believe he is in his late fifties now, he has lots of determination and money, so who know's this several hundred year old mystery may be solved in 2014!?

Thanks for the info!!!  I like those shows but I don't have TV, just my iPad.  Had to buy a season pass app just to get "Gild a Rush". Will see if I can find this one somewhere.  Love those old mysteries!!!

Thanks again!!!

It's amazing that people have been trying to solve this mystery for several hundred years  <-thinking->
I bet the daily journal that the one guy kept will come in handy and help with the puzzle  <-good_>

Ive not seen this program though Ive been hoping to
In the 70's Oak iSland was featured on a Program called In Search Of with Leonard Nimoy, and ive been fascinated by Oak island ever since. Ive even heard a rumor that it was involved with th holy grail.
