Another great day at the Southern Ontario Hunt :)
« on: May 27, 2007, 05:27:59 PM »
Weather turned out to be great! A few drops of drizzle but that's all :)
I would like to thank the hunt committee and the volunteers for another excellent hunt this year! Year after year I keep thinking that it can't get any better; but it does :)
I had another good hunt with lots of silver and some nice prizes :)
Silver from the sand...

$14.15 face value for the 2 days, 4 hunts.
Some of the prizes..

I took the pic above but forgot the chain.

Also won the best jewellery find :)

I uploaded lots of pics, I now had 50 photos for you to look at :)

Here's the link!

Awful nice collection of coins you have there Colin... glad to see you have the luck.... or I should say, results from your input.  And congrats on your wins, you've surely earned them... seems you're on the go most every opportunity.  Kind of reminds me of myself in my younger years, with the old Coinmaster.  Just seeing your booty sure fires the blood up to get out doing a bit of that again.

What is your oldest coin... and similarly, your most treasured?

Somebody said that it couldn't be done

That maybe it couldn't but he wouldn't be one
Who'd say so until he had tried.

Wow !  Very impressive Colin.  I think my color of green quite matches those stones.  lol  And no wonder you have drive!

Best wishes with the hunting, and we certainly look forward to more of your posts.
