Ok its a highly conductive metal? 94 on my VDI numbers on my metal detector.Which is silver?Could it be tin or a large peice of lead that tricks my detector to read a higher vdi number.Thats on a stock setting, not much sensativety? It seems hard but not that hard, put it too the bench grinder, easily took off a corner. It looks like slag (left over from smelting)  Possible it could be broze or brass?

Where was it found?
Does it feel heavy for it's size?
Whats the hardness? (refer to Moh's scale) Good

I found some of that stuff in Lethbridge and hit it with a torch and it is lead there is tonnes of it down in the area.
I was talking to a old timer and he was showing me and pointing to where the coal mines are this is #1 coal mine
and that is where I found it.
