MCC

We have a lot of Stromeyerite up at the Silver King. We will be back in the area next year again if you want to come and have a look.

Really cool and NOT common for Silver and Copper to be together.

Yes indeed gray sulphides can be quite frustrating in the identification dept ^#!.So many!
I got a tech report completed by my Geo pushing out my Spencer property to June 2020 {-applause-} Wiggle room <-yahoo_> Hoping the commodity prices will help us in 2017 rather then hinder us as in the previous.Still to many companies in survival mode rather then exploratory mode.Had a few expressions of interest in 2016,but nothing more.My partner claims he has talked to a large company that is wanting all are info Jan9th(here's hoping)In this game one has to not read to much into any of it until 1st base -2nd base-3rd base are reached and finally if you successfully sign into an option (home plate) until that option has been met  fully,your kind of back on 1st again <-thinking->But what the hey! We dare to dream BIG! Merry Christmas to all that have graced this thread.Dan

 <-wave-> It warmed up to 48 here today  [!!DANCE!!] Cleaned up more preg. solution. This is the preg. I am precipitating the silver out of. The solids are still in the bucket  <-dont~know-> Less than a gallon to go and it will all be filtered. I'm just turning the rest into copper(ll) sulfate, and should have around 240 grams of silver when it's done. Some pics.

SD

I am VERY interested to see how your experiment is doing and leaching the Silver... We have areas of very high silver and would like to take a little out of the cons before it heads to the smelter if we can....  ;)

 <-wave-> Here's some pics. of the silver after precip.  I use 40 to 60 %  H2SO4.  I'm after copper and anything above it on the periodic table.  If you don't have too many acid consumers (ie: copper etc ).  SSN or straight Nitric Leach might work  <-don't~know-> Just gotta be love'n that hydrometallurgy!

Great pics again SD!  {cool^sign}

Can you give us a little more info on that first pic? The one with the nice "gold" colors in the crystals?  ;D

 <-wave-> I always view rusty crystals as iron? Here pics. of the AuAL2 ( purple gold) Still a fair amount of copper, palladium and silver etc., but the gallon jar of  silver precip  that is in the HNO3.  I like that it is  pretty clean. It's over two inches deep in a 10 inch jar. I like SSN leach on the higher grade silver ore.  It helps pull the gold  <-yes_>better. The best thing is copper is $6000.00 + or- a ton  {cool^sign} On a completely different note, some local mining news:
