This is directly across the river in a section of our claim that we're getting roughly 2g per yard.... can't wait to get over there to check it out!

Wow,Nice. That gravel layer on top could be several hundreds of years old.But work it all.Test from bottom to top. That seam running threw the middle of your pick could be very interesting.Luck,Mcbain.

Been a long time since I've been to PG, brings back memories for sure.

I agree, could be interesting, but the only way to know is to test it, and I hope it pays well for you.

2g to the yard is good dirt, so hope it keeps paying well.

I used to chase the gold up near Manson Creek, good gold but hordes of bugs . . .

All the best,

Lanny

Outdoor stores sell Mosquito netting - either just the head or full upper body.  Looks mighty  stupid --- but --- sometimes you just have to .......

Just don't let anyone take your picture.   8)

Had a pretty decent weekend. Got about 5 yards through old "Goldie Hawn". Got wet about 40% Of the time but it wasn't too bad... all in all no complaints

lived up at Germanson for two yrs... quickly invested in bug jackets doused in deet..
buddy suggested  spoonful of crushed garlic morning and night .. I was a bush rat, and born again bachelor,  so having any  hope of romance was out the door , so I gave it a go...
buddy asks me about a month later , did the garlic help? nope not a bit ... yea didn't work for me  either ..    :-\

Hi.Doon Garlic and lots of vitamin C will work for mosquitoes.Black flies well napomp maybe.Ever hear of Findlay forks.i lived there 67-69.We used a lot of bad shit like DDT and later on Deet.Like alot of veitnam guys we all suffer a lot of nerve damage.Better off to coat yourself in honey than suffer the pain off that shit.Luck Mcbain.
