Go a bit further up the channel and dig through that beautiful natural grass mat, this is what has been catching the fine gold during flood season.

You should really consider my free offer on the centrifuge left at your shop as you can see from Dan's centrifuge video they do a great job at recovering fine gold.

When your lifting that sod be sure to rinse off the root mass into a bucket of water.

Mother nature has provided the perfect sluice mat for you.

Those huge moss covered boulders at the Yale public gold panning reserve are great at catching fine gold then the rains wash it free from the moss and  down the sides of the rocks.

Snowman,

Those moss covered boulders at Yale, I have used a hair comb and combed it into my pan. Works great I got some nice little flakes from it.
