Title: Hello from the Ozarks!
Post by: Hillbillybob on December 18, 2007, 11:39:22 AM
Hi everyone!
I'm known as Hillbillybob even around here at home.
I hunt with a Whites DFX and will be moving to BC this spring to be with my future wife.
I'm looking to buy a gold claim in BC to work.
I found this last night and now feel I have found a good place to find out about mining laws in Canada.
I wish all of you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Thank You for the welcome Ernie.

I hope to keep learning more from the members of this forum.

I have been hunting Lake of the Ozarks all my life and have many treasures from all those years of hunting.

I have gone out West and have hunted for gold and other minerals for a month at a time for the last 30 years.

I spent 3 months last year in BC with my Sweetie. We did a lot of mineral collecting and picture taking.

This is my last winter living here full time in the states. Giving my son the farm and I'm moving to the Northwest.

Hope all of you are finding yellow.

Thank You Seeker.
I just got a digital camera last year and I never too many pictures as the cost to develop film over the years but now take lots of pictures.

Right now I am spending 2 months with my sister in Kansas City MO visiting with all her family and my son who lives here in the city before I head North next Spring.
Wife died after 18 years togather 2 years ago this coming Spring and I have been seeing and visiting old friends and family for the last 6 months.

I do have some pictures of what I found but they also are pictures of my sweetie and my dog that is 14 years old that travels with me everywhere. I will haft to get some pictures of things I have found over the last 4 years with the DFX when I get back to the farm to post on this board.

I have found rings, necklaces, bracelets, toys, fishing equipment, junk, and lots of goodies every year when they draw the lake down for the Spring floods.

I have paid for my DFX many times over.

I finely have all my paper work to come to Canada but must wait for a few more months to come up and stay so I will just wait instead of messing everything up.

I thought I would post a few pictures that I took on one of our road trips around BC last winter.
This is a one day trip.

I chose these pictures as I don't want to post pictures with my Sweetie in them but I do want to post the beauty that I seen and fell in love with while in Canada.

Hillbillybob

Looks like I didn't put in the right date on one picture when I added my name and dates to pictures.
These were all taken the same day and put into a folder under that trip.
