Hey Digger...

Wowwy in any man's or woman's book falls short of describing the find of that cache.  It sure makes my coin collection from detecting seem kind of scrawny.... but hey, each coin of mine shares a history too.  A few of them less than a century away from the Black Swan booty.

Great for those guys, I'm sure they've earned it over the years. Stuff like that doesn't happen overnight.  Years of research, years of searching.  Possibly I should shake some of the dust off my shipwreck research and see where it leads.  One day, maybe.

A pleasing thread for sure.

Is that the one they found offshore near Spain?  I heard they chartered a 747 to bring the booty home.

If this is the spain gold / silver coins, I saw this on TV recently.

Apparently they are having some big problems trying to keep the coins (and two solid gold boxes). Spain believes it was one of there ships, so they think it is there's... another country believes it is there's... and the "Discovery" ship that found it said... well... you can't prove it, and possession  is 9 tenths of the law lol

One terrific find though, wasn't it?
