What is a Mining Wiki?

A wiki is a page or collection of Web pages designed to enable anyone who accesses it to contribute or modify content. This paticular "Mining Wiki" is a place for us to share mineral, gemstone, and rock type information... with your help sharing and editing content this wiki will become a data base of minerals and rocks, to aid in identifacation for all miners.

How do I use it?

Use the search on the left to search for a mineral. If the page exists, you can read edit, or add info to the page. If the page you search for does not exist you can use the "Create This Page" link that appears to create the paticular mineral resource page.
